Thank you very much for your time and efforts put forth yesterday in helping us get this container loaded… I realize that you did not have to make time for this mess, and, you were willing to go above and beyond your normal responsibilities in order to get this container loaded.
I sincerely appreciate your help, and, great communications in making this situation work out so good.
Thanks again, and, again!

Hi, guys. I wanted to take a few minutes to express our appreciation for the hard work that you and your staff have done since we moved in. We’ve worked through a lot of start-up issues together. You’ve also helped us deal with the high number of weeks of coverage that we continue to maintain. Hopefully, we’ll see those fall in the coming months, but we’ve hoped for that before . . . It’s nice to be at the point where we are confident that you are managing our business as well—probably better!—than we could if we were running our own building.
In particular, I want to single out James Maynard as being vital to the success of our partnership. James has consistently impressed me with his dedication and attention to detail. I know that he has come in on weekends and stayed well in to the evening on occasion to get orders out. He has also spotted numerous problems and contacted us quickly so that we can resolve them. Most of the time, if he hadn’t caught the issue, it likely would have gone unaddressed until it was too late. The guys at H&M have gone out of their way to let me know how well James takes care of scheduling loads and communicating with them. Unfortunately, it’s rare these days to find employees who pick up the phone when they see an issue—far too often, people seem content to send an e-mail and sit back. That way they can say, “I e-mailed you about that . . .” after something goes wrong. Sometimes I get an e-mail from James as the phone is ringing because he picks up the phone as soon as he hits send! I know that he does the same in working with Susan and Ryan. These days, it’s impossible to place too high a value on effective communication.

To All Burris Personnel and Management,
As usual you all came through with flying colors. I just wanted to thank all of you for a very good audit. It is all about you all, not me. I could not do it without you. It seems to be the best score ( 99 ) that I have heard throughout the Baskin DC facilities. I wish everyone was as lucky as me to work with such fine professional people as the management team at Burris in Haines City Florida.
Thanks Again

Hi Alicia & Tonia,
The Activity sheet that you sent John and me did the trick! We were able to look at all of the P.O. numbers and compare them to your order numbers which allowed us to find our mistake. We keep a similar "Activity" sheet which is based upon the EDI transmissions that our IS department receives from you and forwards to us. This obviously isn't 100% foolproof.
Both John and I appreciate the amount of time and effort you put in to help us keep our inventory accurate. We don't always have such a positive experience with other warehouses that we do business with and sincerely appreciate both of you more than you realize! Thanks once again,
Regards,

I would like to thank Jimmy once again for saving us as we had a floor loaded container arrive at our facility this morning with no prior notification. Jimmy has agreed to work this container in at some point today. Tampa Maid is in need of this product and is very appreciative of your efforts.
The supplier has been notified that this is not acceptable and would be turned away have another container show up unannounced!
Thanks again!

Thanks to you and the wonderful warehouse employees for their professionalism and making sure that I was able to get all the inventory selected down from the racks. I have done several inventory observations over the years and yours was definitely the best organized, safe and clean warehouse. I will be waiting for the 12/31/2009 inventory sheet once the year had been closed to compare to what I received for the count yesterday.
Thanks,

We will be sharing our discussions with the others here at our company, and can assure you that the information you need from us will be provided in a timely manner.
Please extend our thanks to Randall Browning & Jim Nestle for the tour and helpful information they also shared with us.
As we told you on Tuesday, you have every reason to be proud of your facility, and can understand the passion the employees have about their jobs. Lorraine and I were thoroughly impressed with the facility and the day-to-day operations.
We look forward to working with you in the future!

I want to give you both a big “THANK YOU” for all of the hard work and extra effort extended this week to accomplish what we all knew was going to be a significant challenge: loading 36 Mountaire containers with very finite limits on genset availability and time. It went as well as we all could possibly have hoped, and that is in no small way thanks to the cooperation and teamwork on your part.

As you may know I spent a few days in Pompano and had the opportunity to ride all day with a driver on his route. The truck could not have been loaded any better. Every stop was sequenced right, numbered correctly, and all product that was requested was on the truck. I want to thank you and your guys for doing a great job loading our trucks. It makes all of jobs here at Schwans much easier. Thanks again

I wanted to take the time to appreciate all the hard work and efforts you and your team put into our account this year.
Your operations associates and Supervisors were diligent in addressing any concerns we had swiftly and thoroughly and took great pride in their work and the accuracy of the loads.
Throughout the offices, from billing paperwork, receiving, and Inventory, each member of your team was very knowledgeable and helpful as well as patient, professional and courteous as we in turn, learned your system and business processes and how they related to our needs.
As with any new arrangement, it would be un-realistic not to expect a learning curve from both parties and you worked hard to make this curve minimal.
Again, please extend our gratitude and thanks to each and everyone on your team, we look forward to possibly doing business again next year.
Thanks and Happy Holidays,

I wanted to write you a short note regarding our experience with Burris this summer. Your staff of ladies, Mary Rose, Libby and Barbara have been a pleasure to deal with. They have done a wonderful job keeping track of our inventory, and scheduling releases.
We have had no issues with non frozen bricks, or delays in deliveries. This is critical due to the application of the product for shipping pharmaceuticals. Please pass along my gratitude to your staff for their hard work this summer.
We will need to plan on shipping product to you on 5/01/2010 for the start of the season next year. In the mean time if there are any issues you would like to address on my end please feel free to call me.

To All:
I had a meeting with our Velda crew on Friday before they went to work picking our orders for Saturday ship / Monday sales. I brought up the fact that our Ice Cream business is at a critical point with our upcoming Ice Cream business review and the challenges we are facing in a difficult economic environment.
But the purpose of my meeting with everyone was to let them know of my sincere appreciation for their hard work and effort on our behalf. Last month it was noted that we had ZERO cutsor shortages to our Cruise Ship orders. A great accomplishment that has been the hallmark of our business relationship with Burris. I stated that we ( Velda ) must have faith in their ( Burris ) ability to perform at a high level and not take short cuts when picking "and" auditing our I/C orders every day. Their professionalism and customer service is first rate.
It's important that I recognize their effort and acknowledge the hard work our crew performs every day in less than ideal circumstances. They deserve our appreciation and I know they willcontinue to perform at a high level in all phases of our business. I encourage you all to stop by when possible to see our operation and let our guys know how important they are to the success of our Ice Cream business in the future.
Thanks,
Charlie

I write to you to compliment one of your drivers/off-load persons, Mr. Shihee L. Greene.
As Receiving Manager at the Fresh Market Store #43 in Dunwoody, Georgia, I interact with dozens of vendors and shipments each week. Mr. Greene is by far the most competent and professional of those with whom I interact. He is on time, very quick in doing his job, which naturally helps me, and personable with all of the employees he comes in contact with at my store. I never have an issue with his job performance and can count on him to place his large deliveries precisely where they should be without my direction. He is invoice savvy and advises me of any discrepancies that may have occurred in our billing...that is also a tremendous time saver and quite a statement to his ethics.
I personally asked him for his supervisor's name but was unable to locate him through your website.
In your position, I would appreciate your relaying my sentiments to Mr. Zach Flugg, Transportation Manager. I appreciate Mr. Greene, the service he provides, and the quality of Burris Logistics operations.
Sincerely,
Kevin M. Miller

I have to tell all of you a “WOW” story that makes me proud to know this guy. This is something that even if you thought of it, you probably wouldn’t do it.
Last week, there was an apartment fire down the street at around 5AM. The emergency vehicles had the whole street blocked off and none of the receiving trucks could get through to the warehouse. Now, you would think that the only choice here is to sit and wait for them to open the road, but no, Terrell Robinson, our Lead Man, thought of another way. Terrell walked down the street and identified 7 tractor trailer carriers that were bringing TFM goods to our warehouse. So, Terrell jumped into the first truck in line and instructed him to turn around and proceeded to lead 7 tractor trailers through residential neighborhoods right to our door from the other side.
The road was open at around 8AM, and if it wasn’t for Terrell’s quick thinking, those trailers would not have been unloaded before the shipping shift arrived and would have affected our service to TFM.
Terrell, you are now known as the “Convoy Guy”. Great Job!!!!!

James,
I want to thank you for your "hands on" verification of the Atlantis orders. This business could be huge for Velda Farms and equally National Dairy. Getting this first order correct with all of thefactors that played a part...from the inbound orders on Friday that were difficult at best to verify, to Angie and Lisa's effort to separate these orders (that imported, which causes otherproblems )so it didn't pick from the pick line, but direct from those inbound orders, no easy task.... it again reflects the partnership Burris and Velda has to have for both to benefit in this relationship.
It's not difficult at all for me to say that our opportunities and goals for 2009 and beyond is tied to our confidence and belief that Burris can perform up to the level of expectation our customersdemand from Velda. It's important that our management team feel that same confidence pursuing new business and expanding current business. Thank you and everyone at Burris for your
yourcommitment and effort to Velda Farms today and every day.Sincerely,
Charlie

My driver arrived on 1/30 at 15:00 for pick up, his appointment was scheduled for 16:30. He said he was backed into a dock and thought he would take a nap because he was early and knew he would have to wait. He said as soon as he backed into the dock his truck was moving. He was loaded and out of there in about 30 mins. He called to tell me what an awesome job your crew did loading him. Please let your crew know we really appreciate them.
I also call and email Tina for appointments and changes. She always responds immediately and goes out of her way to work with the drivers.
