Burris Logistics – Recognized for outstanding performance during "Isabel"

A full-page ad appeared in the Baltimore Sun and the Washington Post on Sunday, September 28. The ad, signed by Richard Baird, President of Giant Food, Landover, Maryland is thanking all of the Giant associates and suppliers for their efforts in keeping as many Giant stores as possible operating with food and power during the hurricane "Isabel" emergency.

Giant made special acknowledgement to four, third-party suppliers: two produce, one electrical contractor, and BURRIS LOGISTICS.  We appreciate the public recognition given to the Federalsburg Team for "Making It Happen", and we are very proud of the excellent job accomplished by all of our Burris associates during the times of national or weather emergencies.
