The Federalsburg Maryland facility is a 3,526,970 cubic foot refrigerated facility.

Burris- Federalsburg is accessible through 30 dock doors along the full length of the 40 foot wide dock. Clearance is 22 feet to 25 feet on the dock and 25 feet and 34 feet in the freezers.

 

The facility is divided into four refrigerated rooms: two freezers (one operated as a cooler for meat and produce), four blast cells, 2 convertible rooms (-10° to +35° F) and the main freezer space. The overall refrigeration capacity is 890 tons per hour with 11,268 refrigerated pallet positions. The blast capacity of the facility is 36 loads per week.
