Burris Logistics announces the joining of N. Winer and Son

Burris Logistics is pleased to announce the joining of N. Winer and Son, a foodservice re-distribution supplier of dairy products in Springfield, Massachusetts with our Honor Foods division effective December 14, 2009. Winer, which has operated since 1934, currently services foodservice distributors in 8 northeastern states and will complement the product assortment currently supplied through Honor in Philadelphia.
The new division, which will be named Winer-Honor, will continue to service its customers from the current facility in Springfield and will continue to be lead by Bruce Winer as its Chief Operating Officer.
Burris is excited about this new venture by adding to the growing foodservice re-distribution network it embarked on several years ago with Honor Foods.
