Burris Logistics’ custom warehouse locations act as a customer’s warehousing and logistics arm.

From public refrigerated warehousing to custom distribution and redistribution, Burris has you covered. Below are some examples of just a few services provided to our customers.

Custom Distribution:

  • Direct loading onto route trucks for direct-stored delivery (DSD) or placing on 53-foot shuttle trailers utilizing cross-dock for fast product transfer to route trucks for DSD service. – Fresh Market and BJs
  • Buying product directly from the processor and replenishing as needed (e.g. BJ’s and The Fresh Market).
  • Selecting orders by case and arranging products on racks supplied by our client (Edy’s).

Redistribution:

  • Full-service supply and sales organization for retailers such as Acme Markets and Giant Food LLC
  • In-store merchandising

Regional Distribution Centers:

Burris has Regional Distribution in the traditional way with warehouses that excel at case pick, managing inventory and providing the safety and security that today’s vendors expect. However, Burris is nontraditional in that transportation to consignees can be achieved thru Burris’s over 200 tractors and over 400 trailers or thru nonassets, whichever is more effective and efficient. The First Move thru a consolidation program takes costs out of the supply chain and is one step closer to getting your products delivered ontime and at the right time.
